Minister of Sport and Recreation South Africa (SRSA), Ms Tokozile Xasa and Chairperson of the Eminent Persons Group (EPG) Transformation in Sport Mr Happy Ntshingila, invite members of the media to the sixth release of the EPG Report. EPG Transformation status Report is a report status document that annual announces Transformation targets set by various Federations on whether they have delivered and achieved on their own set targets entered into an agreement with the Department of Sport and Recreation South Africa.
The delivery of Sport Federations meeting their transformation targets is therefore monitored by an independent body called EPG (Eminent Persons Group) which annually releases the report on whether Sport bodies or Federations have indeed meet their transformation targets and those that have failed, what appropriate sanction get levied on them by the Minister of Sport and Recreation South Africa.
The EPG report will therefore be released and handed over to Minister of Sport and Recreation, Ms Tokozile Xasa next Tuesday. Members of the media are therefore invited by the Minister of Sport and Recreation South Africa to be part of this annual event and also have an opportunity to interrogate the report.
