This webinar – hosted by a panel of medical experts from around the country – is set to not only examine the impact of COVID-19 but also to interrogate the way the pandemic is being managed in South Africa, and Africa as a whole.

Exploring controversies surrounding diagnostic testing; an examination of Ghana’s management of COVID-19; health and safety issues; up-to-date evidence for treatment options; and how we can guide the ongoing pandemic using behavioural science, this webinar is aimed at being succinct yet information-rich, will end with a Q&A session where the panellists will respond to submitted questions.  If you would like to submit a question to the panel please do send them by email to wjcmcovidwebinar@gmail.com by 10:00 Wednesday 10 June 2020.

The Wits Journal of Clinical Medicine is a peer-reviewed, Open Access scientific research journal published tri-annually by Wits University Press in Johannesburg. The journal was established to provide a forum to showcase scientific research from the School of Clinical Medicine at the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, as well as from other institutions nationally and internationally. Submissions are welcomed and the journal has a particular focus to encourage clinical and translational research especially from new academics, including students, fellows and junior consultants.
