On Sunday, 16 June 2019, Democratic Alliance (DA) Youth Leader, Luyolo Mphiti MP, will lead the party's Youth Day celebrations in Soweto. Mphiti will be joined by the DA National Spokesperson, Refiloe Nt’sekhe, MPL, DA Gauteng Caucus Chairperson, Makashule Gana MPL, Councilors, DA Activists and hundreds of young people.
The day symbolizes the struggle of the 1976 generation, as well as the plight the youth continue to face today.
The DA will highlight the fight for jobs and quality education.
The DA is the only party that has a vision for the youth of South Africa and will present statistics on what it has done for young people in the areas where it governs.
