The Constitutional Court, which is the highest court in the land has given the South African Correctional Services Workers Union, herein referred as SACOSWU, has given the latter a green light in the most watched outcome that all minority unions were following with keen interest. Surprisingly, 6 months later the Department of Correctional Services has employed gestapo tactics to try and liquidate SACOSWU. They have been sending SACOSWU leadership from pillar to post when trying to secure an appointment to have the judgment thoroughly discussed to get a common understanding. So the employer has finally agreed to meet with SACOSWU and the outcome thereof will be made public in a form of a Press conference.
 
The union will take South Africans into their confidence in terms of the rampant corruption in DCS as exposed by the former COO of BOSASA Mr. Angelo Agrizzi in his Evidence-In-Chief in the Zondo Commission. We also going to expose the rampant corruption in intake and promotional posts, the use of labour instruments by unscrupulous managers who were affirmed by POPCRU and the use of money to block our way as a union into the shores of corrections.
