The Department of Arts and Culture in partnership with the Cultural and Creative Industries Federation of South Africa (CCIFSA) and the Creative Industry Task Team (CITT) will brief the media on the state of readiness for the upcoming CCIFSA National Elective Conference. The briefing will take place on Wednesday, 13 February 2019 at the National Film & Video Foundation, Houghton in Johannesburg.
CCIFSA was formed in 2015 as a unifying body to champion the interests of the cultural and creative sector. Much has been done since that inaugural elective conference in Mangaung to organise the sector. The CITT is tasked with working with CCIFSA to organise the Conference.
The briefing will outline the elective processes at district, provincial and national level; and the milestones towards the conference as well as the detailed programme for the CCIFSA Elective Conference scheduled for the end of March 2019.
