KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs, Mr Sihle Zikalala will tomorrow, 06 December 2018, launch the provincial Spend Wisely Campaign aimed at cautioning the public against reckless spending during the festive season.
As part of the launch, Mr Zikalala and his team will engage with hundreds of workers at different factories in Isithebe Industrial precinct in the Mandeni area. “Our engagement with the workers will focus mainly on ensuring that they spend their 13th cheques and stokvels wisely to avoid finding themselves in huge debt at the beginning of the year,”
The campaign will be launched at the Mandeni Local Municipality in the Ilembe District and will extend to different parts of the province in the next 15 days. Members of the media are cordially invited to cover the launch which will take place as follows:
